【Outline】
The film is a portrait of the inhabitants of Kyoto in their free time as well as a portrait of the Kamogawa river.
It’s also a musical composition of the traffic and the river’s murmuring and the music that the people play everyday on the sides of the river.

本作は、鴨川ののポートレイトであると共に、そこで自由に過ごす京都の人々を描いた新作ドキュメンタリー映画。
川のほとりで人々が日々奏でるのも音楽、行き交う人の流れや川のせせらぎもまた音楽的なものである。

【Artist Profile】
Hervé Humbert is a french visual artist living in Berlin, Germany. After questioning the boundaries between art, design and architecture for more than 15 years, he started as a documentary film maker 4 years ago with 2 travelogues and  a portrait. “the Kamogawa song” is his 4th film.

Hervé Humbertはドイツ・ベルリン在住のフランス人ビジュアルアーティスト。15年以上にわたりアート、デザイン、建築の境界線に疑問を投げかけてきた彼は、4年前に2つの紀行文とポートレートを制作し、ドキュメンタリー映画作家として活動を開始。”The Kamogawa song”は4作目の作品。
